"Nor'Easter" Nick Pittman is South Jersey's Weatherman. He was born and raised in Brigantine and is a "true" South Jerseyan. Living on a barrier island, seeing all the changing weather conditions, Nick became fascinated with meteorology at just 5 years old. He started forecasting in 4th grade doing Brigantine Elementary School's morning announcement's weather. In 2004 Nick won CBS3's Kidcaster competition where he did the weather live with Kathy Orr, at that moment he knew he wanted to pursue a career in broadcast meteorology.
Nick got his professional start in TV Broadcast on WMGM-TV NBC40 at age 17, while still in high school. Working at NBC40 was a rewarding experience that helped him develop his on-air and forecasting skills. In 2015 Nick accepted the Chief Forecaster role with a new TV station in South Jersey, SNJ Today News. Most recently, Nick has teamed up with other local broadcasters to own and operate a TV station that focuses on Atlantic and Cape May counties.
Nick is a believer in "paying it forward" and is involved in several community initiatives, mentoring local youth and is dedicated to shining a light on the positive things going on in South Jersey. He is a dog lover and is a proud dad to his Boxer-mix, Skye. Nick looks forward to forecasting South Jersey's weather for many years to come.
